Atty. Abis took up law at the the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He graduated as Valedictorian of his Batch (2025) and was also an Eximius Academicus Awardee. He finished his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of the Philippines – Manila. While in law school, he was a Legal Apprentice and the Assistant Director for External Affairs in the PUP College of Law Legal Aid Clinic. He was also an intern under the Legal Network for Truthful Elections (LENTE).
